On 7 to 8 April 2016 the first Hungarian Confucius Institutes Director’s Forum was held in Szeged. The event is hosted by the Department of the SZTE Confucius Institute, which waited the Institutions’s Chinese and Hungarian directors and Hungarian colleagues with many programs.
07 April from 4:30 p.m. Dr. Tamás Martinek vice-rector opened a photo exhibition from the Institute's life and moment and at 5.00 p.m. prof. Dr. Imre Hamar, director of the ELTE Confucius Institute gave a lecture from Khotan’s Buddhism.
The Forum was very successful, because the participants could share their experiences operating principles with each other. They are also concerned, how important, that Confucius Institutes can fit into the image of Universities. They also touched the importance of the Institutes’s cooperation. In this case, other forums are being planned for the future.
