HeLijiao-

Lijiao He (Nancy), with a M.A. degree in TCSOL, was teaching Chinese at SZTE CI as a Volunteer Chinese Teacher from September 2016 to July 2017. She was again officially sent to SZTE CI as a backbone teacher in Feb. 2019 by Shanghai International Studies University. Nancy HE takes great interest in Chinese teaching and lives as a sincere and optimistic person. She loves doing reciting Chinese poetry and prose and is good at traditional Chinese calligraphy. She wants to contribute to the friendship between Hungary and China as much as possible through her Chinese teaching.

Xu_Xiaolu

Xiaolu Xu (Luna), with a M.A. degree in TCSOL, had ever taught Chinese as a Volunteer Chinese Teacher for two years at the Confucius Institute of Babes-Bolyai University in Romania before joining SZTE CI in September 2019. Luna XU is very experienced in teaching Chinese and organizing Chinese cultural activities. She loves reading and always finds pleasure in the art of using a language. She looks forward to learning and exploring the historical and contemporary Chinese cultures with you together in Szeged.

REN_PING

Ping Ren (Sophia), with a M.A. degree in TCSOL, is a backbone Chinese teacher officially sent to SZTE CI in December 2021 by Shanghai International Studies University. Experienced in TCSOL for 10 years ever since, Sophia has already cultivated many international students to win honors in some state-level competitions and to receive scholarships to further their studies in some top Chinese universities, such as Peking University, Beijing Language and Culture University, East China Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, etc. In her teaching career, Sophia holds the philosophy of “doing self-introspecting daily and letting teaching benefit the teacher as well as the students”. The students’ progress, development and growth are always her deep concerns. Sophia earnestly hopes that her students will make good use of their youth and time to master the Chinese language and then in their own areas contribute to the evergreen friendship between Hungary and China.

Du_Congping

Congping Du (Gary), with a M.A. degree in TCSOL, is a backbone Chinese teacher officially sent to SZTE CI in November 2021 by Shanghai International Studies University. In 2014, Gary DU was teaching Chinese in Budapest and Székesfehérvár, and now 7 years later, he is very happy to return to Hungary to continue his teaching at SZTE CI. Gary holds the philosophy of “teaching through entertaining” and “applying what you have learned”. He hopes to help more international people to learn about China through Chinese teaching. Gary has a wide range of interests in sports and music, such as playing pingpong, basketball, and playing the guitar.

Zou_Haojing

Haojing ZOU (Ethan), with a M.A. degree in TCSOL, was officially sent to SZTE CI as a Chinese teacher in December 2021 by Shanghai International Studies University. Before that, he was teaching Chinese at Hassan II University of Morocco. Having hobbies in photographing and traditional Chinese seal cutting, Ethan hopes to greatly arouse the international students’ interest in the splendid Chinese cultures through his Chinese teaching.

Lu_Yan_Anni

Yan LU (Anni), with a B.A. degree obtained in Beijing Foreign Studies University, is a Local Volunteer Chinese Teacher at SZTE CI. She has been teaching at all the key partnerschools of SZTE CI since September 2020. Anni is fond of music, movie and loves traveling. Being devoted and patient in teaching the pupils, she is good at using various teaching methods to motivate the students’ interest in learning. Anni LU aims at helping her students to keep their curiosity in Chinese language and cultures and to learn how to embrace the world.

_Fan_Libo

Libo Fan, a dotorate candidate in linquistics at the Univeristy of Szeged, is a Local Volunteer Chinese Teacher at SZTE CI. Through teaching Chinese in Hungary, she has been dearly connected to the country by marriage. Libo hopes to make growing contributions to the career of Chinese teaching in Hungary.

Peng_Diya

Diya Peng, a doctorate candidate in educational science at the Univeristy of Szeged, is a Local Volunteer Chinese Teacher at SZTE CI. Obtaining her B.A. degree in international Chinese language education from Sha’anxi Normal University and her M.A. degree in the same area from the Education University of Hong Kong, Diya worked one year as a teacher of Chinese language and literature at a secondary school in Xi’an City. She hopes to broaden the students’ horizon in learning the historical and profound Chinese culture through her Chinese teaching.
