"The Founding of a Republic" is a famous Chinese movie about the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. The movie was displayed in the cinemas in 2009. The proclamation of the People’s Republic of China was in 1949. 10. 01. During the movie night we would like to commemorate that event and the Chinese National Day as well. After the movie, the Hungarian director of the Confucius Institute Richárd Mohr and a docent from the University of Szeged Dr. Péter Ákos Ferwagner will talk about the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
