  1. Nowadays it is compulsory to speak English, while Chinese language knowledge is inevitable if you would like to have a very good job and competitive salary!
  2. Speaking Chinese multiplies your competitiveness in the labour market.
  3. Learning Chinese is a perfect way to improve your memory. Research shows that those learning Chinese use both their left and right brain hemispheres which is unlikely in case of speakers of other languages.
  4. China offers a great number of scholarships (almost 100% of costs financed by them) for young Hungarians on different degree courses at different universities.
  5. More and more Chinese companies decide to locate their European centre in Hungary. For them a Hungarian employee speaking Chinese is a treasure!
  6. An increasing number of Hungarian companies aspire to enter Chinese markets. The lack of Chinese language knowledge, however, makes them back up. You could become the one to help a company to success!
  7. Studying Chinese is an excellent investment clearing its costs and carrying interest in a couple of years .
  8. Hungarian expertise and innovation are recognized concepts in China as well. Complemented by knowledge of the Chinese language it is going to be easy to find supporters!
  9. One fifth of the total population of the world speaks Chinese or is learning it at the moment. So many people cannot be wrong J!
