This year in December, the Confucius Institute at the University of Szeged organizes a „Chinese Talent Show” which is the national preliminary round contest for the forthcoming Chinese Bridge Competition in 2021.

Information about eligibility for Secondary School Students:

Middle school students aged 15-20, with non-Chinese nationality, born and raised in a country or region other than China, and whose mother tongue is not Chinese. (If one parent is a Chinese, there is Chinese in their growing environment, then he or she is not eligible to participate.)

Information about eligibility for College Students:

Students of colleges and universities in Hungary, aged between 18 and 30, non-Chinese nationality, raised outside China, and the mother tongue of theirs and their parents is non-Chinese. Participants in the last two (consecutive) Chinese Bridge competitions held in China are not eligible.

Elements of the contest:

1. According to the notice of competition, first of all, you have to talk about the following topic in two minutes: We are „One World, One Family”!
2. Secondly, you have to introduce a Chinese culture related performance, such as reciting a poem, singing Chinese hits, perform a fan dance, kung-fu performance or ethnic Chinese dance. However, if you have got different talents and abilities, please share it with us!
