Why?

The most wanted employees on the current labour market are the ones with Chinese language knowledge (besides Arabic and Russian) - Several Chinese companies operate (one of) their European centres in Hungary. For them, an employee speaking Chinese is a treasure!
- Various Chinese universities and faculties welcome Hungarian students. You only have to pay for the flight ticket and you can study at the best Chinese universities for one semester/one school year with scholarships: monthly allowance, no tuition fee, no accommodation fee in dormitories.
- The Chinese government is planning to offer the opportunity for more and more Eastern-European hence Hungarian students to study Chinese during the year 2014/15.
- English language knowledge is compulsory in most jobs, while Chinese is inevitable if you would like to have a good job and competitive salary!
- You can take the official Chinese language exam (HSK) at SZTE Confucius Institute, which you can have recognized at your future workplace after accreditation. Even after 2 semesters of learning Chinese, you can pass the elementary language exam!
- SZTE Confucius Institute launches language courses on a regular basis, in a successive manner, so you can develop and improve your language skills from elementary to advanced level without stopping!
- Learning Chinese is a perfect way to improve your memory. Research shows that those learning Chinese use both their left and right brain hemispheres which is unlikely in case of speakers of other languages.

We launch our courses with a minimum of 10 students. In case there are less than 10 students registered, we will suggest students to register for another course. Classes are held by Chinese as a foreign language teachers and the mediating language of education is English. To comprehend lessons, elementary level of English knowledge is necessary.
Coursebooks can be borrowed from SZTE Klebelsberg Library and occasionally photocopies are provided by the teacher.
